Aboriginal Programs Bringing Communities Together
In the Cowichan Valley we have many services and programs for our First Nations and Aboriginal people. The programs that are being offered here in the Valley have culture, teachings, and promote the local languages. The service providers often have an open door policy regardless of where you come from, or what family you belong to. We come together to promote cultural believes, values, and family teachings into the programs.
We also strive to be family focused and therefore able to be flexible in the services being offered on and off Reserve.
We are a rich community that -- coming together and realizing it may take a whole community to raise a child.
